Dr. Levine is a board-certified  orthopedic surgeon who is fellowship-trained in sports medicine and arthroscopy. He specializes in surgeries of the shoulder, elbow and knee: anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), meniscus (cartilage care), knee ligaments, rotator cuff, labrum and shoulder instability, plus total and partial knee replacement.

Many (but not all!) of 

Dr. Levine's patients are high school, college, professional, and recreational or former athletes who have sustained sports-related injuries in the moment or over time and have highly individualized goals and circumstances to consider when deciding on a course of treatment.

Dr. Levine is an orthopedic surgeon who believes in meeting his patients' individual needs through comprehensive evaluation and treatment designed to help achieve an active, pain-free lifestyle. He combines operative and non-operative  techniques to provide patients with the best sports medicine and orthopedic care possible.

Patient education is an important part of what makes Dr. Levine's orthopedic  practice unique. Using drawings and 3D models, he will teach you about your injury and treatment plan.

Dr. Levine sees patients in his Timonium, Bel Air, and  Hunt Valley offices and operates at the Medstar Surgery Center in Timonium as well as at Medstar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore City.
